Assistant Director, WSH - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership in developing and executing strategic plans, and oversee operations of the WSH management system to maintain a safe and healthy workforce environment.
• Strategically plan and review manpower and financial resources to balance competing priorities.
• Drive the development and implementation of the WSH Framework, with emphasis on Occupational Health and Staff Protection.
• Serve as Secretariat for the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Council and Occupational Health (OH) Committee.
• Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of new WSH projects and programmes.
• Assess programme effectiveness and lead continuous improvements to ensure objectives are met.
• Oversee the Staff Protection Office, focusing on prevention and management of workplace abuse or harassment, including post-incident support, training, and preventive initiatives.
