Requirements
We are
seeking a full-time Senior Therapy
Assistant to join our Allied Health Services team.
You will play an integral part in supervising and coordinating
therapy support services, mentoring junior assistants, and ensuring
the effective delivery of rehabilitation programs. You will also
contribute to strategic planning and implementation of
community-based health education initiatives focused on physical
well-being and cancer
prevention.
Key
Responsibility
Areas : Rehabilitation :
Provide advanced physical assistance and support to
therapists in complex treatment sessions and
assessments.
Lead the setup and appropriate
modifications of prescribed intervention programs, ensuring
adherence to clinical protocols.
Take charge
of technical duties, including inventory control, to facilitate
smooth operations.
Coordinate and implement
rehabilitation programs focused on improving patients' physical
functioning and enhancing their quality of
life.
Physical
Well-being Advocacy :
Contribute to the creation of comprehensive educational
resources on physical well-being and lifestyle
management.
Lead the delivery of workshops,
public talks, and community outreach events promoting cancer
prevention and health literacy.
Monitor
program effectiveness and suggest improvements to maximize outreach
impact.
Referral &
External Stakeholder Liaison :
Act as a key liaison with external healthcare providers
and community organizations to ensure timely and appropriate
referrals.
Collaborate with therapists and
allied health team to customize care pathways for diverse client
needs.
Represent the rehabilitation team in
multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement
initiatives.
Requirements :
Diploma in Physiotherapy, Work-Study Diploma in
Rehabilitation Care, or experience in related healthcare field.
Individuals with relevant physiotherapy training are welcome to
apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal
skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a
dynamic team environment.
