Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Support the procurement of steel materials, construction-related goods, and services to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Process purchase requisitions and orders using Cloud platforms, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, fabricators, subcontractors, service centers, and logistics providers based on quality, lead time, and pricing.
  • Ensure material compliance with specifications and certification requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues such as short shipments or non-conforming materials.
  • Collaborate with project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, QA / QC, and Warehouse on material and logistics matters.
  • Monitor and update inventory levels of materials and consumables.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO standards, and project-specific requirements.
  • Organize and maintain documentation including material submittals, inspection reports, delivery notes, quotations, certificates, contracts, and invoices for audit, payment, and filing purposes.
  • Act as the main phone operator for the department and support administrative coordination.
  • Support audits related to company certifications and recognition.
  • Coordinate import and export forwarding processes.
  • Contribute to ERP system improvement and perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements :

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education : Diploma in Supply Chain, Construction Management or other.
  • Experience : 0–5 years in procurement (construction / steel industry preferred).
  • Familiarity with steel materials, logistic or forwarding process is a plus.
  • Fresh grad is welcome.
  • Technical Skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read drawings and material specs.
  • Work Hours : Monday to Friday - 9 : 00am to 5 : 30pm
