Job descriptionWork with volunteers and provide support to the deceased family when required. Ensure the workstation and storage areas are clean and tidy. Assist staff in other related Welfare department areas, such as repacking rice for needy families, Qurban services, rough sleepers, fostering, and activities during the month of Ramadhan. Minimum GCE N level or equivalent qualification / relevant experience. Able to read and write in Malay and English. Valid Class 3 Driving License. Physically fit and able to perform field duties. Own transport preferred. Willing to work long hours, weekends, and off-hours when required. Computer literacy an added advantage. Passionate about community service and willing to contribute actively to welfare programs.
Funeral Services Assistant
Job Summary :
The Funeral & Community Service Officer will be responsible for providing support in funeral services, driving the hearse van, and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle.
This role requires a high level of physical fitness, ability to work long hours, weekends, and off-hours when required. A valid Class 3 Driving License is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive the hearse van and assist in funeral services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of the hearse van.
- Clean, replenish, and store funeral materials after use.
Purchase and update funeral materials as needed.
