Job descriptionMinimum Diploma / Degree in Business Minimum 5 years experience in a Trade Support / Operations role in drafting and reviewing contracts Good understanding of incoterms Experience working in Commodity trading environment Highly detailed and meticulous
Key responsibilities
- Verifying and validating transactions within the System for consistency
- Ensuring timely and accurate updates of deals in the system to reflect any changes
- Drafting contracts for Crude and / or products for internal review
- Distributing contracts post-approval
- Recording contracts and associated amendments in the system
- Keeping master templates up to date as required
- Assessing and responding to contracts received from counterparties
- Updating contract-related Excel worksheets / Power BI reports
- Creating tender offers as necessary
- Coordinating with Finance / Legal / Demurrage departments on contract wording and terminology
- Evaluating counterparties’ general terms and conditions
