Job Description

The National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for one (1) Research Engineer position in the area of firm location choice modelling. The candidate is expected to work in research projects related to the topic funded by the National Research Foundation of Singapore and Urban Redevelopment Authority and other relevant agencies. The candidate will be working with Associate Professor Ong Ghim Ping Raymond from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering ( https : / / cde.nus.edu.sg / cee / staff / ong-ghim-ping-raymond / ).

The selected individual is required to :

• Work on survey and stated preference models for firm location choices
• Work on revealed preference models for firm location choices
• Work on transport models related for firm choices
• Work on other relevant tasks set out by the project PI

The candidate should also possess good communication and team working skills and has the ability to present research findings in publications and professional meetings (including with agencies and the industry).
