Roles & Responsibilities

Marine Service Engineer [ Electrical ]

Working day : Mon - Friday (9am -6pm)

Salary : $2500-$4500

Location : Taiseng

Job scope

  • Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repairing electrical systems and components onboard ships.
  • Carrying out testing and calibration of gas detectors in workshop.
  • Supervising external contractors when needed.
  • Assist crew and Supt with ordering the correct spares.
  • Provides detailed reports on work completed.

Familiar with :

  • Engine control and alarm system
  • Fire alarm system
  • CO2 / water mist system
  • OWS / ODME
  • Ballast water Management System
  • Cargo monitoring system
