Working Hours :
- Mondays to Fridays : 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM (inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break)
- Personnel may be required to support school events on weekends or public holidays, based on school needs.
🧰 Scope of Services
The ICT Trainer shall conduct ICT-based learning programmes and provide digital media support to enhance the school’s teaching and learning environment.
Core Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct ICT and digital learning programmes for Primary 1 to Primary 4 students using hardware and software provided by the school.Develop and submit lesson plans and student booklets for each programme.Conduct lessons to enable students to understand basic computer operations, use of learning devices, productivity software, and to develop design thinking and computational skills.Adapt lessons to different learning abilities and ensure that cyber wellness values are integrated.Provide consultation sessions to guide students in completing project work beyond curriculum hours.Programmes to be Conducted
The trainer will conduct the following programmes for the respective levels :
Personal Learning Device (PLD)Design Thinking Programme and Prototype CreationOSMO Coding ProgrammingScratchJr Coding ProgrammingMicro : bit Coding Programming3D Printing Programme and TinkercadAt the end of each programme, students should be able to demonstrate understanding of basic ICT skills such as computer operation, touch typing, internet browsing, coding, design thinking, and digital creation.
Digital Media and School Support
Provide support in digital media creation for teaching and learning materials.Assist in managing the school’s digital platforms such as the school website, Facebook page, Instagram account, and other related media.Support school-level ICT projects and digital initiatives.Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD (Enriched Curriculum & ICT) or SH (ICT).🎓 Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualification :
Relevant certification in ICT, Digital Media, or an equivalent field.Experience :
At least 5 years of experience working in a primary school environment.At least 5 years of experience conducting ICT training programmes for students.Skills and Competencies :
Strong knowledge of ICT tools, coding platforms, and digital media applications.Good classroom management and student engagement skills.Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.Capable of designing and delivering engaging and age-appropriate ICT lessons.Proficient in the use of educational and multimedia tools.Tell employers what skills you have
