Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Report to the IT System Analyst. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing detailed programming specifications, coding programs, conducting system testing, preparing documentation, and supporting the implementation of the in-house developed Trading Management System.
• Involved in all major in-house application systems that require new functions, enhancement or bug fixing on the Microsoft platform.
• To implement, at the request of the user and approved by the System Analyst, software change proposals, for the purpose of operational enhancements and system upgrade
• To produce adhoc reports or queries when requested and any batch reporting and processing jobs in the systems.
• To attend to user queries and provide assistance to them in the operation of the system
• Develop test plan, drive user acceptance tests and regression tests for new system enhancements. Ensure comprehensive testing is performed so as to achieve a zero-defect implementation and deliver high quality application and system support.
• Be highly responsive to the dynamic nature of the business environment and to quickly react against any critical issues related to the supported systems at all times.
• Manage and maintain software development documentation.
• Provide hands on training to the users on the developed applications.
