Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our team for a major offshore oil & gas redevelopment project. This is an office-based role in Singapore , supporting the FEED and Detailed Engineering stage. You will act as the key interface between multidisciplinary engineering teams and project management to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor engineering deliverables across disciplines (process, piping, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
  • Track project progress, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare and review project reports, technical documents, and meeting minutes.
  • Support Project Manager in managing scope, cost, and schedule compliance.
  • Organise and participate in design review meetings, HAZOP / HAZID workshops, and client discussions.
  • Liaise with procurement, planning, cost control, and document control teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues by coordinating with engineering teams and vendors.
  • Ensure all work complies with project standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, or equivalent).
  • 3–8 years of experience in project engineering within oil & gas / EPC projects (offshore experience an advantage).
  • Familiarity with FEED and Detailed Engineering stages of projects.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project or Primavera (advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to offshore oil & gas projects (platforms, jackets, subsea pipelines).
  • Knowledge of international engineering codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC).
  • Experience working with EPC contractors or engineering consultancies.
