Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 civil contracting firms with a strong construction portfolio in mega civil infrastructure projects and large-scale iconic building projects. In view of expansion, they are looking for multiple Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer to manage building or civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings such as piling, structures, formwork
• Provide practical construction solutions
• Familiar with design coordination and authority submission process
• Liaise with Professional Engineer to review and check construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements and construction sequences for all aspects of temporary and permanent works
• Provide coordination with QPD / QPS and client regarding engineering proposals and submissions to carry out construction work
• Liaise with sub-contractor design teams for design clearance
