Job Overview
As a Learning & Development Executive, you will connect business growth with employee development, supporting nationwide and store‐specific L&D initiatives in collaboration with the Market L&D Manager and store teams.
Responsibilities
Promote and safeguard IKEA culture, acting as a role model for values in all L&D operations.
Contribute to the formulation, communication and implementation of country and store competence development strategies in partnership with the Market L&D Manager.
Foster a lifelong learning culture where knowledge sharing becomes natural.
Coordinate alignment across stakeholders for a unified country L&D approach, including assessments, training requests, data analysis, and government fund claims.
Serve as the main contact for L&D support at the base store.
Monitor and follow up on mandatory and compliance training progress.
Facilitate external training enrolment for co‐workers.
Travel to other stores when required and work weekends to support L&D activities.
Maintain and manage learning spaces and communication boards in stores.
Accountable
Compile, monitor and maintain learning analytics data, LMS account accuracy, and training records for stores.
Drive orientation processes for new co‐workers, coordinating with HR and line managers.
Manage progressive wage model enrolments in line with MOM regulations, collaborating with learning providers.
Ensure completion of mandatory and compliance trainings with stakeholders.
Implement the training calendar, culture and values programmes with the Market L&D Manager.
Support L&D administrative tasks.
Contribute
Manage master training tracking for department trainings and annual security reviews.
Support line managers on MyLearning user issues.
Guide co‐workers through the learning journey with clear communication.
Promote a growth mindset and learning culture across IKEA Singapore.
Qualifications
1‐2 years' experience in Learning & Development.
Passionate about growth through learning.
Strong people skills and ability to connect with co‐workers.
Self‐motivated, independent, and adaptable.
Resilient, determined to improve competence development.
Dedicated to enhancing co‐worker experience.
High energy, motivation, and desire to achieve goals.
Comfortable working in an agile, multidimensional environment.
Basic presentation and facilitation skills.
Event management and planning experience.
Proficient with MS Forms and other survey tools.
Knowledge of MS Excel for data management.
Video content creation is a plus.

Excellent communication and inspirational ability.
Can work independently and reliably on the L&D agenda.
Flexible, fast, simple in getting things done.

Good IT literacy across Ikano Retail applications.
Vendor & sourcing management experience is a plus.
