Senior Commercial Executive (Contract)
Navsar Global is partnering with a leading player in critical infrastructure development to source a highly motivated and skilled Senior Commercial Executive. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to significant projects in the power generation, waste management, or water sectors, playing a pivotal role in their commercial success and contractual integrity. This contract position is for a duration of two years, offering a chance to make a substantial impact on vital infrastructure initiatives.

- Benoi Road :
- Island-wide transport is provided for your convenience.
- IWMF Nexus :
- Pick-up services are available at designated MRT stations.
About the Opportunity :
As a Senior Commercial Executive, you will be instrumental in managing the commercial lifecycle of complex, large-scale projects. You will be at the forefront of ensuring financial prudence, contractual compliance, and effective risk management from project inception through to close-out. This role demands a sharp commercial acumen, a meticulous approach to documentation, and strong negotiation skills, all within a dynamic and impactful environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive commercial support across a portfolio of complex, large-scale projects, ensuring financial viability and contractual adherence.Prepare critical commercial documentation to support claims negotiation, extension of time requests, robust cost control measures, and financial recovery from clients.Assist in the meticulous preparation of project costing, budgeting, and the submission of compelling commercial proposals required during the tender process.Demonstrate familiarity with government contracts to ensure strict legal compliance and mitigate contractual risks.Facilitate the timely and efficient close-out of all contractual obligations for designated projects.Draft and review vendor and client contracts, ensuring alignment with project specifications, identifying deviations from company policy, and assessing potential business or logistical risks.Lead the drafting of Subcontracting Contracts, strategically planning and negotiating payment terms and liquidated damages with subcontractors.Provide crucial procurement assistance for high-value packages, including the negotiation of robust Contract Agreements with subcontractors.Proactively manage and negotiate variations with subcontractors to ensure project continuity and cost efficiency.Perform detailed costing with strong substantiations, utilizing recognized methodologies, industry standards, and best practices, with guidance from supervisors.Maintain and continuously update an effective costing database system, ensuring it reflects current market conditions and provides accurate insights.What You'll Bring :
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering).A minimum of 4 years of progressive commercial experience within the Water, Wastewater, Waste-to-Energy, or large infrastructure project sectors.While a minimum of 4 years of relevant commercial experience is preferred for this Senior role, we also welcome applications from highly motivated candidates with strong academic backgrounds in the specified engineering disciplines who are eager to embark on a career in commercial management within critical infrastructure projects.Familiarity with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) requirements is highly advantageous.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Working Environment & Benefits :
