Job description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Technical Manager to lead technical operations and after-sales support across the region. This role is critical in ensuring service excellence, technical expertise, and outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

  • Provide comprehensive knowledge of machinery and equipment to support both pre-sales and after-sales functions.
  • Offer technical guidance to the team, assisting with complex repairs and diagnostics.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously enhance product expertise.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the technical team, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
  • Allocate resources effectively, manage work schedules, and assess workloads to meet service requirements.
  • Ensure employees are trained and engaged on core equipment while promoting a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
  • Process Optimization

  • Redefine and streamline servicing processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer response times.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Forecast labor and spare parts needs to ensure optimal team function.
  • Collaborate across departments to improve communication and coordination.
  • After-Sales Support

  • Deliver effective after-sales support, including troubleshooting, repairs, and technical assistance.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, manage suppliers, and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to capture customer concerns and drive service improvements.
  • Quality Assurance

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in servicing and repairs.
  • Conduct audits and performance evaluations, addressing deviations promptly.
  • Provide technical insights to support product enhancements and innovations.
  • Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams.
  • Minimum 7 years in technical support / management, with strong background in equipment repair and servicing.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of machinery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with service frameworks, inventory management, and spare parts procurement systems.
