We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Technical Manager to lead technical operations and after-sales support across the region. This role is critical in ensuring service excellence, technical expertise, and outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of machinery and equipment to support both pre-sales and after-sales functions.
- Offer technical guidance to the team, assisting with complex repairs and diagnostics.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously enhance product expertise.
Team Management
Lead, mentor, and supervise the technical team, fostering skill development and performance improvement.Allocate resources effectively, manage work schedules, and assess workloads to meet service requirements.Ensure employees are trained and engaged on core equipment while promoting a collaborative, customer-focused culture.Process Optimization
Redefine and streamline servicing processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer response times.Implement preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures.Forecast labor and spare parts needs to ensure optimal team function.Collaborate across departments to improve communication and coordination.After-Sales Support
Deliver effective after-sales support, including troubleshooting, repairs, and technical assistance.Oversee spare parts inventory, manage suppliers, and maintain adequate stock levels.Establish feedback mechanisms to capture customer concerns and drive service improvements.Quality Assurance
Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in servicing and repairs.Conduct audits and performance evaluations, addressing deviations promptly.Provide technical insights to support product enhancements and innovations.Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory).Proven experience in leading technical teams.Minimum 7 years in technical support / management, with strong background in equipment repair and servicing.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of machinery.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with service frameworks, inventory management, and spare parts procurement systems.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
