Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our internal IT infrastructure and end-users, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our systems across the company.
You will act as the first point of contact for all IT-related requests and incidents, managing a range of support tasks from user administration to network troubleshooting. You'll also be involved in systems maintenance, upgrades, and implementation of IT projects to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for end-users (hardware, software, network, systems).
- Serve as the primary contact for IT incidents, escalating to external vendors or internal resolver groups when necessary.
- Perform Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange user account administration.
- Handle the deployment, installation, and maintenance of end-user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
- Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licenses, and documentation.
- Administer and support Office 365 applications and services.
- Support backup and recovery processes, antivirus solutions, and system updates.
- Assist in the implementation, upgrade, and migration of IT infrastructure and systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and policies (e.g. ISO 27001 : 2013, MTCS SaaS Tier 2).
- Collaborate with the broader IT team on infrastructure monitoring, virtualization (VMware), and network administration (routers, switches, WAPs, firewalls).
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant IT operations / support experience in the IT industry.Solid knowledge of TCP / IP networking and Windows OS environments.Proven experience in Office 365 and Active Directory administration.Familiarity with VMware, network and security devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, antivirus), public cloud environments, and backup solutions is an advantage.Experience working in environments aligned with ISO 27001 : 2013 (UKAS) and MTCS SaaS Tier 2 standards is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.Tell employers what skills you have
