Job Description

As a professional, key account manager is a professional who builds and maintains relationships with major clients, to retain them for extended periods of time. They develop an extensive understanding of an organisation's client base and their needs. They engage with the clients, often resolving issues and suggesting solutions to routine problems they face. A key account manager may be able to comprehend the needs of a client and tailor products or services that meet their specific requirements. The top 3 most important responsibilities of a key account manager include : Maintain with growth mindset, Strong Communication and ability to explore & collaborate with new opportunities.

a) Developing and maintaining a portfolio of high-value clients. Must have global / regional mindset in serving Key accounts.

b) Developing long-term strategies for client retention and growth expansion.

c) Understanding the needs and requirements of clients. Resolving customer complaints promptly to maintain trust.

d) Trying to build long-standing professional relationships with clients to create a mutually beneficial environment.

e) Proposing solutions to a client's problems and implementing them within reasonable timelines.

f) Ensure market competitive within the industry

g) Acting as a channel of communication between clients and the employees of an organisation.

h) Identifying high-value clients and developing strategies to build relationships with them.

i) Preparing periodical reports with accurate data on time. (CRM / Monthly Report etc.)

j) As the main facilitator to manage Account Receivables for assigned accounts.

Job Requirement

a) Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

b) At least 3-5years of experience in Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to Sales and Business Development.

c) Experience or exposure in handling conglomerate accounts especially in Healthcare / Medical Devices / Semiconductor / Electronics will be considered with priority.

d) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

e) Proficient in MS Office applications. Good in communication and negotiation. Excellent presentation skill.

f) Strong organizational and management skills

g) Strategic thinking and statistical analysis skills

h) Proactive, resourceful with ability to work well independently or in groups.

i) Enthusiastic about sales job, teamwork spirit, communication skill and interpersonal relationship skill.

j) Experience manager with relevant experience will be consider for a senior position
