Retail Store Manager

As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties : -

• Lead and motivate the store team to enhance customer service and selling skills across all staff.
• Develop and upskill staff to maintain high standards in service and sales.
• Ensure all store staff adhere to store operation standards.
• Conduct daily staff briefings to communicate sales targets.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and cleanliness standards in the store.
• Handle customer complaints when necessary.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members.
• Actively contribute to the management team in setting, tracking, and achieving store targets and objectives.
• Review daily store transactions to identify and prevent irregular or suspicious activities.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all company policies and procedures; educate staff accordingly.
• Assist the Assistant Store Manager in planning rosters to ensure adequate manpower at all times.
• Set task priorities and develop action plans to meet daily and short-term goals.
• Liaise with the Visual Merchandising team and / or oversee site maintenance activities.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock takes, setting goals with the team to achieve zero discrepancies and minimize stock loss.
• Prepare and submit monthly store inventory reports to management.
• Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned or when required.

Requirements :

• Min. GCE N or O level.
• At least 3 years of retail experience.
