Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview :

The Operations & Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end importation and distribution processes of Mexican products. This role requires strong expertise in supply chain management, import / export regulations, and logistics optimization. The ideal candidate will combine operational excellence with cultural awareness of Mexican products and international trade practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the entire importation process of Mexican products, from supplier coordination to customs clearance and final delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and food safety standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
• Manage inventory control, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Optimize transportation routes, shipping methods, and costs.
• Implement best practices in supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with Mexican suppliers to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and compliance with export requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, shipping terms, and pricing agreements.
• Develop and implement SOPs for logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Monitor KPIs and continuously improve processes to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
