Job description
Key Responsibilities
Handle the purchasing of construction and fabrication materials, including rebar, steel plates, fasteners, consumables, and equipment.
Source and negotiate with suppliers, fabricators, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Prepare purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and packing lists accurately.
Coordinate with the factory, warehouse, and project sites to align delivery schedules and material requirements.
Maintain supplier database, purchase records, and cost tracking sheets.
Assist in marketing, project documentation, and administrative filing.
Support basic accounting tasks, including expense monitoring and payment follow-ups.
Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields.
Experience in the construction, rebar, or steel fabrication industry will be a strong advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong coordination and communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors.
Able to work independently under minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with China-based factories and suppliers.
Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
