Roles & Responsibilities

Detailed Responsibilities :

• Reading and Interpreting Blueprints : Understanding project specifications and requirements from technical drawings.
• Material Preparation : Measuring, cutting, and shaping metal parts using various tools and machinery.
• Welding Techniques : Employing techniques like MIG , TIG , and Stick welding to join metal components.
• Equipment Operation : Setting up, maintaining, and safely operating welding equipment.
• Inspection and Testing : Ensuring welds meet quality standards, including visual inspection and potentially non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Safety Compliance : Adhering to safety regulations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Collaboration : Working with other tradespeople and team members.
• 6G Specific : Welding in a fixed 45-degree position (6G) where the welder does not rotate the pipe.
