We are looking for someone passionate about coffee, hospitable, and great at creating incredible guest experiences grounded in care and respect. You will help with Alchemist’s daily operations in all our outlets (International Plaza, Hong Leong Building, Khong Guan Building, The Mill, CIMB Plaza, 71 Robinson, The Heeren, Asia Square, Ocean Financial Centre, and Funan, Plaza Singapura). We invite you to grow as a family and create a community through coffee with us.

You will

⁠Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests, colleagues, and all of our vendors and suppliers

⁠Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods

Stay knowledgeable about Alchemist’s current beverage offerings and preparation techniques; continuously cultivating your curiosity and knowledge through in-house tastings, cuppings, and training

Taste our coffee regularly to ensure quality that upholds our standards, and to develop your palate

Create a community in our cafes by sharing your joy and knowledge of coffee with our guests; inspire your fellow teammates to do the same

⁠Support the team by taking joy in the tasks that keep the cafe running smoothly and effectively — these tasks include cleaning, clearing, washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment stations, and taking out the trash

Maintain proper health, and food safety according to the food safety guidelines

Promote a clean and safe workspace

You are

Proactive and enthusiastic with an avid interest in learning and making coffee

⁠Outgoing personality to interact with customers

Passionate about specialty coffee and creating an inclusive hospitality engagement

Excited about taking on challenges and possessing a positive attitude

Possess a valid food hygiene certificate
