AsiaOne, a leading digital content provider in Singapore, is taking off for our next phase of growth as a fully privately owned news and media outlet. We are expanding our editorial leadership team and are looking for self-driven and experienced senior journalists and editors to lead change and shape our editorial style and direction.

In this position, you will work closely with the management team and be supported by other departments within the Company to give a unique edge to our reporting.

Your Mission

As a News Editor, you will set the editorial tone and direction of AsiaOne’s news offerings. You will manage and guide budding journalists and be responsible for AsiaOne's daily content lineup, including news, feature stories, personal reflections and commentaries . Your responsibilities include :

• Leadership : Guide a team of journalists and foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. This is aAs a News Editor, you will set the editorial tone and direction of AsiaOne’s news offerings. You will manage and guide budding journalists and be responsible for AsiaOne's daily content lineup, including news, feature stories, personal reflections and commentaries . Your responsibilities include :
• Content Strategy & Innovation : Lead editorial discussions with other departments in the Company to execute a bold content strategy for local and regional audience.
• Content Curation & Packaging : Monitor the news cycle and copy taste various sources and partners to create compelling and accessible narratives.
• Multi-Platform Multi-Media Storytelling :  Drive the creation of diverse content formats, including news reports, feature articles, photo essays and news videos.
