(RMO) Sputter Equipment Engineering team at Seagate Technology. We
specialize in engineering innovative solutions across mechanical,
electrical / electronics, PLC, software & controls, and advanced
analytic systems. Our mission is to enhance ultra-high vacuum (UHV)
sputter machines through upgrades that improve Overall Equipment
Effectiveness (OEE), reduce downtime, optimize operations and
process capabilities, lower indirect material
(IDM) / hardware / consumables costs, boost productivity, and ensure
readiness for new product conversions. We are committed to
delivering exceptional media performance and minimizing
defects.
About the
Role : Install,
upgrade, and maintain state-of-the-art sputter systems.
Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely completion
within stipulated schedules.
Actively
participate in technical meetings and discussions.
Troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and electrical
issues.
Generate comprehensive reports,
including daily updates, issue logs, and Closed Loop Corrective
Actions (CLCA).
Collaborate closely with
cross-functional teams, including Software, Process, Launch,
Maintenance, and Equipment Development Engineering.
Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and
technicians.
Drive continuous improvement
projects to enhance system performance and refine working
protocols.

Your
Experience Includes :
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field,
with at least 3 years of pertinent experience.
Proven experience in installing and maintaining high
vacuum CVD / PVD systems in a cleanroom environment.
Knowledge of Thin Film, PVD, CVD, Etch, Ion Beam, Ion
Implantation, and Ultra-High Vacuum tools is a
plus.
