Role Overview
As part of our strategic growth, we are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Restructuring & Insolvency Partner to lead and expand our Insolvency & Restructuring practice in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to build a practice within a globally connected firm while enjoying the autonomy and support of a partner-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments, including judicial management, liquidation, receivership, and schemes of arrangement.
- Develop and execute recovery strategies involving asset sales, divestments, and restructuring of debt and equity to restore business viability.
- Act as an expert witness in litigation and arbitration proceedings.
- Oversee claims and litigation support services, including forensic accounting and damage quantification.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with legal counsel, financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams across engagements.
- Drive business development and thought leadership in the restructuring and insolvency space.
Requirements
Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (Singapore) under the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act (IRDA).Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in restructuring, insolvency, and dispute advisory.Proven track record advising MNCs and SMEs across various sectors.Strong understanding of financial restructuring, distressed asset management, and turnaround strategies.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
