Job description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the day-to-day management of our client's network operations, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Network Administration : Manage network infrastructure across diverse environments (production, DR, test)

Perform hardening, upgrades, and enhancements to IT infrastructure

Implement security patches, track obsolescence, and monitor password / certificates

Ensure data recoverability and business continuity through network backup operations

Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct regular DR testing

Project Management and Support : Provide system / network support for projects, adhering to timelines

Manage infrastructure enhancements / projects following established guidelines

Incident and Problem Management : Provide second-level network support, resolving incidents / issues per SLA

Diagnose problems, propose solutions, and implement preventive measures

Change and Release Management : Schedule and release network changes, presenting requests during CAB / CAMC meetings

Configuration Management : Develop / maintain comprehensive configuration databases / libraries

Capacity and Performance Management : Monitor / plan infrastructure capacity, performing performance tuning

Process Management : Implement IT service management processes, aligning with corporate security policies

Documentation : Develop / maintain technical / process documentation for IT infrastructure upkeep

Requirements :

Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in IT / IS / CS or related field

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing network / security equipment in financial institutions or mission-critical environments
