Responsibilities :
Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual financial
statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory
reporting standards and accounting principles
(IFRS / GAAP).
Compile account schedules and
coordinate with auditors and tax agents for submissions.
Manage the full accounting cycle, including AR / AP and
related processes.
Handle bank postings,
reconciliations, GL entries, payments, and financial
schedules.
Administer GST filings and
claims.
Monitor and manage cash flow to
optimize working capital.
Assess foreign
exchange exposure and execute hedging strategies when
required.
Develop and manage annual budgets,
forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Track
actual results against budgets and prepare variance
analyses.
Provide financial insights to
support business decisions.
Implement and
maintain effective internal controls.
Ensure
compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory
requirements.
Coordinate internal / external
audits and regulatory reviews.
Set KPIs for
the finance team and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
Lead, coach, and develop finance staff, assigning tasks
and monitoring progress.
Promote a culture of
continuous improvement and results orientation.
Collaborate with other departments to review workflows,
strengthen controls, and identify cost efficiencies.
Support ad-hoc finance duties and special
projects.
Requirements :
CPA / ACCA preferred.
Minimum 5 years' relevant
experience, ideally in the marine industry.
Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and
tax laws.
Proficient in ERP accounting
systems; SAP experience advantageous.
Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
in a fast-paced environment.
