Job Description

  • Assist the Project Manager with daily project activities, including coordination, scheduling, planning, and implementation of work.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction activities are carried out in compliance with approved designs, contract specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions when deviations from the project scope, schedule, or quality occur.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication of project progress, specifications, and any challenges.
  • Review project proposals and plans to align project objectives with management expectations, ensuring performance criteria and client needs are clearly understood and incorporated.
  • Oversee project timelines and milestones, proposing adjustments and modifications to the schedule as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in the achievement of team goals by actively contributing to relevant tasks and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
  • Liaise with clients to coordinate project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, monthly reports, and other key project documents.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform ECO duties as assigned.
  • Implement and monitor environmental control measures to ensure compliance with Singapore's environmental laws and regulations, including those set by the National Environmental Agency (NEA).
  • Required to actively monitor and prevent environmental health issues within construction sites.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of Department.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
  • Must possess Environmental Control Officer Certificate and registered with National Environmental Agency (NEA)
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in constructions or civil engineering
  • Those with experience in underground utilities especially cable pipes will be advantageous
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Service-oriented client relationship and people
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license
  • Other information

  • 6 days' work week
  • Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license
  • The office is located at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556, in the North
