Quality Manager

Reports to : Director of Quality

Overall Job Objectives

  • Our client is searching for a competent and experienced Quality Engineer / Manager to join the Corporate Quality team. In this Corp role, the successful applicant will be expected to :
  • Oversight on Worldwide Quality KPI and Quality Tools.
  • Champion Customer Quality Voice and Initiative into manufacturing sites
  • Compile monthly customer voice dashboards, quality KPIs and analyze for any areas of concerns from specific customers.
  • Lead and drive Corp Initiatives and Customer Improvement initiatives across all sites to support Corp quality target
  • Facilitate management meeting and monthly meetings on internal and customer quality initiatives with sites management and representative.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Project Corporate's quality confidence and proactiveness to customers
  • Promote Corporate Quality Initiatives to customers
  • Champion customer voice and acts as customer advocate to factories
  • Provide worldwide oversight on quality tools deployment with respect to customer requirements, as well as effectiveness of quality KPIs.
  • Maintain company quality standards and proactively drive improvement in company quality standards.
  • Drive worldwide standardization by constant collaboration with the Factory, BU and Sales teams
  • Job Specifications :

  • Bachelor / master's degree in engineering
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in QA in semiconductor Manufacturing site or similar industry
  • Possess comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of quality system tools (8D, SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, etc.), and how these tools can be deployed in OSAT environment.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 and VDA6.3 Standards preferred
  • Have Project Management and Customer Management Skill, preferably with sustainable experience interfacing with customers and / or driving customer project to meet customer requirements.
  • Able to work and influence people from different cultures and countries.
  • Able to communicate and present effectively in small and large groups
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Self-driven and has excellent problem solving and organizational skills for daily customer support and managing on-going and future programs
  • Able to work independently and as a team player with customers and world-wide cross-functional teams within the organization
