Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of building projects within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves managing a project team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with EHS and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the project start-up and execution plan, defining key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, resources, EHS, and contractual obligations
- Liaise effectively with clients and consultants on all project matters, including authority submissions, planning, construction, and EHS compliance
- Lead a team of professional and technical staff in the day-to-day planning and execution of works to achieve project objectives
- Review the master programme, define milestones, and set pull-planning targets to manage site progress effectively
- Liaise with and manage subcontractors to meet performance targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety
- Implement and monitor project budgets, as well as manage all contractual matters
- Drive the adoption of innovative construction methodologies and practices to improve productivity and achieve lean outcomes
- Foster collaboration among team members and encourage commitment to achieving performance targets
- Assist the Business Unit Head or Project Director with tendering and proposal activities to secure new projects
Requirements
Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineMinimum 10 years of experience in project management and / or site coordination for building projectsStrong knowledge in construction management, planning, and contractual matters; lean mindset in managing cost and resourcesAbility to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project goals; highly committed to delivering milestones and targetsProactive in problem-solving and focused on strategic project objectivesData-driven mindset for improving efficiency and productivity through measurement and analysisPrior experience in aerospace, commercial, institutional, or government projects will be an advantageTell employers what skills you have
