HR
Manager
Position
Overview
The HR Manager will be
responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources
functions within the organization. This role will play a strategic
and operational part in driving HR initiatives that align with the
company's business objectives, regulatory requirements, and
culture.
Key
Responsibilities
1.
Recruitment & Selection
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract
and retain top talent within the insurance industry.
Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs
and plan workforce requirements.
Oversee
end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing,
selection, and onboarding.
Work Pass
application, renewal and
cancellation.
2.
Training & Development
Maintain staff training records and assists in training
registration.
Monitor and track CPD
hours
3. Performance
Management
Assist in
the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and consistent
evaluations.
Provide guidance to managers on
performance coaching, feedback, and career
development.
4.
Compensation & Benefits
Process monthly payroll and generate HR / Payroll related
reports
Participate in statutory surveys, MAS
& MOM etc
Submit government
claims
Manage employee benefits programs,
including insurance coverage and wellness
initiatives.
5.
Employee Relations &
Engagement
Act as the
first point of contact for HR-related matters, grievances, and
conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with
employment laws and industry regulations.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a
positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Handle all other HR Projects and Administrative matters
and undertake tasks as assigned by
management.
Qualifications
& Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration, or related field.
At least 5
years of proven experience, with minimum 3 years in managerial
capacity.
Prior experience in the
insurance or financial services
industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law, HR best
practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS
guidelines).
Excellent interpersonal,
communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong
problem-solving
ability.
