Job descriptionCompleted at least Secondary Education or equivalent; technical certificate (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering Trade / NTC, TVET) is an advantage. Basic knowledge of machinery and mechanical / electrical / industrial maintenance principles. Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately. Good troubleshooting skills for minor machine faults. Physically fit; able to do standing, lifting, bending, and moving equipment safely. Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious mindset. Working hours in shifts are required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor production machines during daily operations.
- To ensure production floor aligns with 5S policy in terms of health and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and fix minor machine faults to minimize downtime.
- Assist with equipment setup, adjustments and cleaning.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
- Report major breakdowns or technical issues to the supervisor.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work done.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
