Assistant Manager / Manager, Product Development (Health and Protection)

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager / Manager, Product Development (Health and Protection), you will work closely with the product development manager to grow the personal lines portfolio profitably, which will contribute directly to Income Insurance’s goals on a company level. You will play an active role in driving product launches, revamps, campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Creating new health and protection products based on business and customer needs
• Driving end-to-end product launch / revamps
• Working with underwriting manager on underwriting guidelines for new products or processes
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders e.g., Marketing, IT, Actuarial for any product revamp / launch
• Keeping abreast with competitors' products and new trends
• Monitoring and analysing product performance data for new opportunities
• Working closely with sales channels to ensure business targets are met
• Clarifying policy intent with stakeholders and frontliners
