AIR-CONDITIONING ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - MEPTECH ENGINEERING AND SERVICES PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and components (split, VRF, chiller, rooftop units, etc.)
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Assist engineers in system design, layout, and implementation.
• Conduct pressure and leak tests using appropriate tools and instruments.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service logs and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Work with building management systems (BMS) for system monitoring and control.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and willingness to work in varying site conditions.
• May involve occasional overtime or weekend work to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of site safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with site teams.
• Time management and reliability.
