Job descriptionTechnical Certificate or Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Precision Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Experience working with progressive stamping tools. At least 1 year of tool-making experience, with a focus on progressive, compound, and 3D stamping tools. Skilled in reading and interpreting 3D CAD models and 2D tool design drawings. Experience handling tight-tolerance parts and forming difficult materials such as stainless steel and copper alloys.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Assemble, fit, and debug press tools to ensure alignment with production targets and quality standards.
- Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of tools to support efficient and reliable production operations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues to sustain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support to the production team to meet operational, technical, and quality requirements.
- Track and manage spare parts usage, alerting the Engineer when inventory levels require replenishment.
- Identify and propose practical improvements to enhance tooling efficiency, performance, and longevity.
- Execute other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support departmental objectives.
