Assistant Engineering Change & FA Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration management request coordination and progress tracking.
• Arrange weekly Cross Functional Review meetings and supports implementation readiness with change Owners.
• Support in product failure analysis to ensure root causes are understood and addressed.
• Coordinates the change activity from the initial request to approval for implementation.
• Arrange weekly Cross Functional Review, prepare Agendas and Meeting Summaries
• Tracking change requests and actively follow up with respective change owners for overdue or pending actions for closure.
• Assist with internal and external automotive audits with ensuring CRs are formally closed with proper evidence and traceability.
• Prepare and update change request trackers and dashboards for regular review with the team.
• Provide support to electronics engineers with basic electronic circuitry and able to understand schematic reading and component function.
• Assist in Product Failure Analysis by conducting product testing, circuit measurements, and preparing FA reports
• Assist with structured problem solving; 5‑Why, root cause tracking and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Prior experience in change control, manufacturing, and electrical product Failure analysis role.
• Good understanding of change request or configuration management concepts.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn configuration management practices.
• Able to work with Excel and data tracking.
• Meticulous with good follow up skills.
• Ability to read Circuit Schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Prior experience in failure analysis and production problem solving is a plus.
