Roles & Responsibilities

Salling Search is proud to partner with an international dry bulk trading firm in search for a Physical Commodity Trader (Cement / Coal) to be based in Singapore.

Only candidates with the following experience and qualifications will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage procurement and sales of dry bulk commodities across assigned markets, ensuring smooth trading operations.
Build and grow relationships with key accounts and support business development initiatives to onboard new clients.
Monitor market trends, gather insights from suppliers and customers, and provide inputs for forecasting and strategic planning.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders - including logistics and documentation teams - to ensure seamless execution.
Support compliance, reporting, and data analysis to aid in decision-making and drive operational improvements.

Key Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Trade, Engineering, or a related field.

1–5 years of experience in commodity or dry bulk trading; knowledge of cementitious or coal products is a plus.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in MS Office tools.

Proactive, adaptable team player comfortable in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
