Your Role :

This is a newly created role reports to the Head of Private Banks and forms part of the intermediary sales team focusing on generating business from various distribution channels with primary focus on private banks. Responsibilities includes :

  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with targeted clients through understanding of their business model and needs.
  • Implement effective sales strategy for key clients to grow and deepen relationship and AUM.
  • Assist with new product pitches and presentations.
  • Engage clients across functions, from gatekeepers to investment specialists and relationship managers.
  • Manage new account and / or new fund onboarding process from end to end.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of Invesco funds and keep abreast of new product developments to deliver best-in-class solutions to clients.
  • Deliver sales and AUM targets.
  • Work closely with the team in developing new product ideas, product focus and sales ideas to enhance business opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively to the team and other departments on distributors’ requirements and expectations.
  • Lead or participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Actively provide market intelligence and analyses for strategic planning and business development
  • Work closely with other departments in delivering timely response to the clients.

The Experience You Bring :

  • University degree, preferably in Finance or Business-related discipline
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities and work both independently and in a team environment.
  • 2+ years of sales and marketing experience in financial and / or fund products
  • Excellent in interpersonal skills and communication skills, good presenter
  • Proven track record in selling to retail banks (branch network / front line selling), gatekeepers of retail banks / private banks, and private bankers.
  • Team player, highly driven and results-oriented
  • Good technical knowledge in investment
  • Strong communication skills and a good presenter
  • Computer skills, both numeric (essential) and creative
  • A self-starter with demonstrated innovativeness and solution design capability.
  • Good communication skills in both spoken and written English.
