Assistant HR Manager Job Summary

">

We are seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to oversee all human resources practices and processes. This role is vital to our success, ensuring a happy and productive workplace where everyone works towards our mission and objectives.

Main duties involve managing activities such as HR operations, manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management.

">

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including onboarding / offboarding, payroll, work pass process, employee relations, and business partnership with managers.

">

  • Finding suitable government grants for the entire business entity and securing the grants.
  • ">

  • Manage, save, and allocate HR funds with government grants.
  • ">

  • Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as business unit restructuring.
  • ">

  • Accomplish and ensure HR projects are complete according to schedule.
  • ">

  • Handle and manage in-house payroll, including part-time and contractors.
  • ">

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll.
  • ">

  • Maintain legal compliance by monitoring and implementing relevant laws.
  • ">

  • Develop and implement training plans for all staff.
  • ">

  • Manage manpower planning, including quota and foreign worker allocation.
  • ">

  • Administer welfare matters and organize staff activities.
  • ">

  • Drive performance management programs, identify talent gaps, and develop internal candidate pipelines.
  • ">

  • Provide HR consulting and solutions on HR matters to business units daily.
  • ">

    Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma / degree in HR or related discipline.
  • ">

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • ">

  • Problem-solving skills.
  • ">

  • Proactive nature.
  • ">

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • ">

  • Analytical, resourceful, meticulous, and able to multitask.
  • ">

  • Good understanding of employment act.
  • ">

  • Preferable knowledge of labor / manpower cost (related to payroll).
  • ">

  • Min. 5 years of hands-on HR Generalist experience.
  • ">
