Part-time Lecturer for DT2005 Lighting and Rendering Pipeline at the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing January 2026. Course details
This 13-week introductory module for Year 2 and 3 undergraduates covers fundamentals of lighting and rendering in 3D using Autodesk Maya with Arnold renderer (and selected complementary tools). Students will create original computer-generated imagery to explore how lighting and rendering influence emotional ambience, forming the foundation for further studies in Visual Effects and 3D Animation. Teach the DT2005 Lighting and Rendering Pipeline course to undergraduates starting January 2026. Qualifications
At least a Master’s and / or PhD in Digital Animation, Digital Effects, or a related field, with a track record of production and creative practice in new media. Prior undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Animation and / or Digital Effects and relevant industry experience may be considered in exceptional cases. Application and deadlines
