Design state of the art, user-centered surgical robotic operating interface that integrates medical imaging, robotic motion control and 2D / 3D real-time system status display.
Translating clinical complexity into simplicity.
Cross platforms like Linux, Windows and Android.
Research, propose and experiment intuitive way of video / image / graphics / information integration and visualization for immersive experience using the best 2D / 3D / AR technology possible.
Build up medical knowledge and understanding of clinical practice along the way.
Investigate and lead future medical robotic simulator development (optional).
Ownership of full design process from background study, ideation, experiment, design, prototyping, clinical trial, VOC collection and continuous improvement.
Work closely with engineers, ID designers, clinical specialist, surgeons to achieve seamless integration with rest of the system and clinical environment.
Follow regulatory and compliance requirements for medical products (such as IEC / IPC standards, risks management etc)
Requirements
Bachelor / Master / PhD degree in computer science / engineering or a related field.
5 years' of proven experience in UI / UX design, XR, especially in Medtech or surgical robotic field.
Expert in 2D / 3D computer graphics and hardware acceleration with passion / love of data visualization.
Familiar with C / C++, QT, QML, VDK, graphics design tools.
Familiar with Linux and Windows software development, Knowledge of Android software development will be added advantage but not a must (can learn later).
Knowledge of robotic kinematics will be added advantage but not a must (can learn later).
Experienced at least one cycle of product development cycle.
