Laboratory Assistant

Job Description

• Convert sample into end use products
• To prepare applications sample for perfumers, marketing, SDM according to standard lab protocol to ensure that samples are done in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of IFF internal customers and external customers
• To prepare consumer test samples and liaise with FDS on logistic details
• To ensure that the priorities are set and agreed with the Regional Application Manager
• To maintain accurate records of work in progress, records results with respect to status of on-going work for internal and external customers
• To assist to manage and maintain raw materials inventories and database for the development and sample making labs
• To keep inventory and formulate in- House base when required
• To maintain all laboratory equipment and tools in proper working conditions
• To maintain stock of all Laboratory supplies for daily use.
• To Maintain good Housekeeping in the laboratory
• To be able to use SAP tools to open and close task, to register and generate base no and update base stock
• To guide new interns on board with sample preparation protocol

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Process Discipline with 1-2 years working experience
• Responsible and hardworking
• Proficient in English
• Basic computer knowledge in Windows and Excel
