GCE O Level and above or a relevant accounting or finance qualification, such as a Certificate of LCCI, CAT, or an ITE diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with numbers Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, proactive attitude
About the role
We are seeking a diligent and organised Accounts Assistant to join the finance team. This full-time role will be based in our offices near the Tai Seng area. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our accounting and financial operations.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure invoices from suppliers / petty cash claim are recorded, processed accurately and timely and follow up on the queries and discrepancies if required
- Prepare entries for AP closing and assist with month-end closing
- Reconciliation of AP sub-ledger accounts and monthly vendor statement
- Assist in GST returns matters
- Prepare entries for GL closing and perform month-end closing activities
- Prepare monthly / year end Receivables schedules
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of regular and supplemental monthly payroll for all workers
- Document filing,date entry, or any other duties assigned by superior from time to time
