Job descriptionWell-versed in Singapore and Asia regional safety and environmental regulations, as well as corporate EHS policies and compliance standards. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in an Operation and / or EHS capacity in a large-scale manufacturing operation or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Singapore Ministry of Manpower. Diploma in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Advise on facility, process, and equipment design for safety and environmental compliance.
- Manage permits, licenses, and chemical approvals with Singapore authorities.
- Ensure regulatory and corporate Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance across R&D sites and manufacturing plants.
- Maintain and improve EHS programs, including inspections, training, and waste management.
- Develop and enforce EHS SOPs and site Emergency Response Plans.
- Conduct risk assessments, LOTO / machine audits, and incident investigations.
- Track and report EHS metrics; implement global EHS guidance and improvement initiatives.
