Job Description

• The National University of Singapore (NUS) Department of the Built Environment (DBE) invites applications for one Research Assistant in Construction Automation with a focus on workflow optimisation and automation for lean and sustainable construction.
• The successful applicant will be working with Assistant Professor Dr. Jinying Xu ( https : / / cde.nus.edu.sg / dbe / staff / jinying-xu / ) in the Cognition X Project lab ( https : / / cognitionx-lab.github.io / ) which endeavours to advance the cognitive intelligence in project management.
• The successful applicant will work on semantic alignment, level-of-automation assessment, and operational co-optimisation for human–machine collaboration in construction and engineering projects leveraging digital technologies.
• The position is initially two years and subject to extension to four years.
