Job descriptionPrepare accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and production specifications. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and fittings based on design intent, durability, and budget. Liaise with engineers and fabricators to ensure structural integrity and feasibility of designs. Collaborate with in-house production teams and external vendors on fabrication methods. Review prototypes, samples, and first-off fixtures to ensure quality and alignment with design intent. Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, safety requirements, and installation guidelines. Manage end-to-end execution of retail fit-out and pop-up projects. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (marketing, retail operations, procurement) and external contractors. Monitor production progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery. Oversee site installation and assembly of fixtures and pop-ups. Ensure workmanship quality and adherence to approved drawings. Conduct on-site adjustments and resolve design / fitment issues. Perform post-installation reviews and prepare completion reports. Present design concepts and solutions to clients and internal teams. Manage client feedback and incorporate revisions effectively. Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders. Research new materials, finishes, and design technologies relevant to retail design. Stay updated on industry trends in retail experiences, pop-up activations, and fixture innovations. Propose improvements in production methods to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. Strong proficiency in 3D AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools. Knowledge of materials (wood, metal, acrylics, composites, etc.) and manufacturing techniques (CNC, joinery, welding, finishing). Project management skills (timeline, budgeting, vendor management). Problem-solving and hands-on prototyping mindset. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

1. Design & Concept Development
- Develop creative concepts and detailed designs for retail fit-out fixtures, display units, and pop-up stores.
- Translate brand guidelines and marketing strategies into functional, visually appealing designs.
- Produce 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, mood boards, and mock-ups for client presentations.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
