Procurement Admin Executive
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Coordination
- Liaise with project teams to understand material, equipment, and service requirements.
- Source, obtain, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Track and follow up on order status, deliveries, and backorders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Cost & Documentation Management
Ensure cost-effectiveness by comparing price, quality, and delivery lead time.Maintain accurate procurement records including supplier quotations, POs, invoices, and delivery orders.Support project teams in preparing procurement-related documentation and reports.Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes before submission to Finance.Inventory & Logistics Support
Coordinate with project teams and storekeepers to ensure adequate inventory levels.Assist in monitoring material usage and stock replenishment.Handle logistics arrangements with suppliers for delivery to site or warehouse.Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and submit regular procurement status reports.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.Assist in vendor evaluation and performance reviews.Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the Procurement Department and Project Teams.Assist in internal communication and coordination related to procurement activities.Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.Requirements
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.Organized, meticulous, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in procurement or in the construction industry will be an advantage.Work Details
