Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Hourly rate : $10-12

Location : Islandwide depending on event venue

Key Responsibilities :

  • Distribute flyers to the public and encourage them to attend the job fair / recruitment drive.
  • Proactively approach passersby and ask if they are looking for job opportunities.
  • Usher and guide jobseekers around the event area.
  • Register jobseekers into our system / database using a laptop or tablet.
  • Set up event materials such as banners, acrylic displays, laptops, tables, and chairs.
  • Assist employers in setting up their booths and display items.
  • Support jobseekers who may be unsure by guiding them to suitable job openings.

Requirements :

  • Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking to strangers.
  • Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Basic computer literacy (for jobseeker registration).
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Prior event or customer service experience is a bonus, but not required.
  • Working Hours :

    Hours will be scheduled based on event dates. Meal break hours not computed to payroll.
