Job descriptionSea-going experience as a Marine Engineer and atleast 2 years of shore experience as technical superintendent. MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1). Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
Role :
- Assist the Senior Technical Manager in overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of tankers.
- Manage daily maintenance and repair activities, budget survey schedules, and docking operations.
- Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
- Monitor, coordinate, and attend vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.
- Conduct and report on incident / accident investigations.
