Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role
We are a civil works contractor supporting process plant projects across the pharmaceutical and oil & gas sectors. We are seeking an Assistant BIM Modeller (Civil) with a strong foundation in BIM to support detailed design, layout planning, and coordination of civil and underground services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for civil structures in process plant environments, including foundations, trenches, pits, and underground services
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, and M&E teams to ensure proper alignment and clash-free designs
- Support identification and resolution of service clashes (e.g. pipe racks, cable trenches, drain lines) using BIM coordination tools
- Prepare construction drawings, layout plans, and technical documentation for submission and construction
- Manage and update Revit families and Civil 3D components specific to process plant infrastructure
- Ensure all drawings and models are compliant with project and regulatory requirements
- Participate in design and coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and other contractors
- Perform model checks for completeness, accuracy, and constructability
- Assist with document control and version management
Job Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline2–3 years of relevant BIM modeling experience in civil works for process plant or industrial projectsProficiency in Civil 3D and Revit; experience with Navisworks for clash detection is highly advantageousFamiliarity with industry standards in pharmaceutical and oil & gas environments is a plusStrong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressureTell employers what skills you have
