Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

Lead the accounting team in operational / financial matters

Must be able to do full set of accounts

Oversee daily finance processes and accounting tasks ,i.e. AP & AP process, GL, accounts reconciliation etc

Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management

Improves and streamlines financial and internal control procedures for all departments.

Support and ensure compliance with GST submission

Plan for annual major assignments such as budgeting, forecasting and management reporting

Closely monitor revenue and expenditure and manage the budget.

Maintenance and updating the Finance policies and guidelines

Liaise with internal and external auditors in the annual statutory audits and Income Tax Returns

Ensure procurement process and procedure in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures

Manage and supervise a team of Account and Finance staff

Any other ad-hoc project as assigned

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification like ACCA;

At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required

Good knowledge of financial accounting, including regulatory requirements and latest accounting standards

Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead and coach team members, provide advice to functional departments

High integrity and good planning skills
